API integrations and automation

I connect systems, automate repeatable workflows, and make exceptions visible so your team spends less time moving data by hand.

What are API integrations and automation?

API integrations move data and actions between systems, while automation handles the repeatable work around that movement.

That usually means APIs, webhooks, queues, scheduled jobs, retries, validation, reporting, reconciliation, and admin screens for exceptions. It does not mean pretending every workflow can be automated away in one clean pass.

Good automation is not just a successful API request. It is the behaviour around the request when data is missing, duplicate, late, changed, or disputed.

I usually build integrations with Laravel queues and scheduled jobs, then add the controls that keep them trustworthy: monitoring, alerts, logs, replay tools, and reconciliation where the data matters enough.

Why integrations and automation can help your business

This work helps when your process depends on the same data moving between several systems, but the movement still relies on people.

Orders might be copied from one platform into another. Account records might be updated in a portal and then re-entered into a finance or CRM system. Payment data might arrive through webhooks but still need reconciliation. Status updates might need to be sent back to a customer system with enough proof to survive a dispute.

Manual handling creates delay, cost, missed records, inconsistent reporting, and support noise. Existing integrations can create the same problem if they fail in ways your team cannot inspect.

The useful version of automation reduces copying without hiding important problems. Your team should spend less time moving data around and more time handling the few cases where judgement is still needed.

That is why I treat exception handling as part of the product, not as an afterthought. On the Rushpay integration, real-time events mattered, but reconciliation and audit trails were what made payment automation trustworthy.
